Jessica Alba Shows off New Hairstyle at 2009 Film Independent Spirit Awards

Jessica Alba is known all around the world for being a natural beauty as well as having an acting talent that rivals all other female actresses. With fantastic films such as “Sin City” and “The Eye” we have seen Jessica Alba with a number of different hairstyles that are all in tune with the long and dark locks that we have come to know and love. Despite this, Jessica recently underwent somewhat of a transformation, having her hair cut much shorter and with a more feminine style in her clothing.

At the 2009 Film Independent Spirit Awards, we saw Jessica with a hairstyle that would once be considered as a fashion faux pas! Her long bangs were not in the usual style of bangs; worn straight or sweeping to the side, but were actually in a curtain type shape, something that once would have been looked at in shock and horror but on this dark haired beauty actually looked quite good!

With her hair looking full of volume and lightly tousled, Jessica Alba teamed pretty and natural hair with a gorgeous pink dress and just a hint of makeup, showing that not only was she a beauty on screen but off it as well.
Although the curtain look is not one that many people can pull off with this much ease, it is an easy look to recreate and just needs a little bit of blow drying and a bit of volume on the top as so not to make the hair look too underdone.
